Things to see and do
Bruxner Park Flora Reserve & Sealy Lookout
Drive through banana plantations to Sealy Lookout and Bruxner Park. It has magnificent coastal views and an overall view of the city of Coffs Harbour. There are walking tracks through the rainforest and lookouts with spectacular views of the coast north and south of Coffs Harbour. Barbecue tables, water & toilets provided. Walk goes for approximately 1-3 hours. A brochure is in your room.
Coff Creek Walk
Coffs Creek Walk is a 9km circuit comprised of formed bushland tracks, boardwalks and bridges that meanders through the ever changing bushland and wetlands of the Coffs Creek Reserves. The walk is well sign posted, has a flat easy grade and is a pleasant way to discover many Coffs Harbour attractions. Council has advised us that dogs are allowed on the walk, and in all public places except where sign-posted otherwise.
Mountain Ash Pottery and Gallery
In the picturesque Orara Valley, this talented family produce both functional and decorative stoneware and terracotta pottery including delightful wildlife ornaments paintings woodwork and hand-blown glass.
Raleigh Vineyard & Winery
Vinney and the team welcome Wagtail guests. Tasting are held daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm Wednesday to Sunday. Open seven days during NSW school holidays. The Butterfly House
Walk among the enclosure and experience a butterfly flutter by. The Butterfly House welcomes Wagtail guests and while dogs cannot enter the butterfly enclosure there are beautiful gardens and shady areas to enjoy. Ask us about visiting the Butterfly House or go to their website.
