About Us

Meet Strawberry and Daiquiri - our baby girls - naughty, nice, adorable, adoring - and our life.

Then there is us - Jennifer and Jeannette, once city commuters - now sea-change champions since 2004 when we swapped Sydney's corporate chaos for café culture on the Coffs Coast.  We bought a great little café, won a couple of awards and built a life for our baby girls (Strawberry & Daiquiri) and ourselves on our one-acre property in beautiful Bonville.

We once scoured the NSW mid-north coast for a place that we could stay with our dogs that felt just like home.  We never did find it.  But we did fall in love with the Bonville / Sawtell area. So we developed Wagtail Cottage - genuine pet friendly accommodation.

Wagtail Cottage, Bonville, is our piece of paradise that we are happy to share with fellow 'dog people'.  Bonville is a delightful part of the Coffs Coast enjoying a sub-tropical climate in a stunning rural setting. You can feel in the middle of nowhere and just kick back on the privacy of your verandah to enjoy the peace and serenity of Wagtails, or explore the spectacular Coffs Coast.

We are members of the B&B and Farmstay Association of NSW and ACT, meeting their criteria and ensuring the very best we can offer.
